Photoshop Intro.
1. Title bar, Menu bar, Options bar.
2. Photo Editors, photographers, magazine editors, graphic designer, web designer.
3.Cropping, Lighting, and Contrasting.
4. Crop tool- corp or cut out parts of the picture you don't want.
5. Lasso tool- Select certain parts of the picture.
6. Text tool- a box where you can put text inside.
7. COMMAND- Z to undo a mistake.
8. To undo more than one you'll have to open the History Palette.

Best Magazine Cover 2013
Bloomberg Businessweek, February 6-12, 2012: "Let's Get It On"
They used rule of thirds on where they placed the sun behind the two planes. Also the blue and red paint on the planes create leading lines towards the sun in the background. The "Let's Get It On" can easily be read because of the placement in front of the dark clouds. I think balance can also be integrated into this because the mass amount of clouds below and the two massive planes balance out in the image.

Magazine Essential Parts
1. Masthead is used for advertising the Magazine Company.
2. Date is used to obviously date the month and year of publication.
3. Main Image is the subject of the picture being used. The main area where the viewer looks at.
4. Model Credit gives credit to the person in the image. Not always on the front cover. Usually is inside the magazine.
5. Tells you what you can read inside the magazine. Like a teaser so you can buy the magazine.
6. Main Cover Line shows what the magazine will mostly be about.
7. Left Third is the beginning of the Magazines' name. A buyer will recognize the company and will most likely purchase the magazine.
