Photo Manipulation and Ethics

Many photographers were fired because of how they Photoshopped certain pictures. I think this type of photo editing is unethical because they purposely change the true nature of the photos they take. In the end a picture modified for the bad side is always unethical. For example in some of the pictures people were removed from the picture. That's not right.


The most unethical picture would be this one because it gives a false image of Kennedy and Castro. The public might have thought that things were going better when in reality the tensions were still high during the Cold War.


This is the least unethical because the only thing that was changed were the pyramid's distance. No harm was done and I believe that it was done to simply make the picture look better.
